We are a 501c3 organization that provides livestock competitions for 4-H and FFA students, adults and seniors, in agriculture, educational and culinary competitions and educational field trips for area students to county and regional fairs, to experience the traditional agricultural Fair. From the Miss Delta Fair pageant to the Senior American Day Talent Show, from hogs to sheep to cattle and poultry, cakes to pickles, roses to cornstalks, art and photography to quilting, Delta Agribusiness provided traditional fair contests.
Many of the students attending Fairs have no idea where their food originates. Our children’s barnyard showcases farm animals and crops, to teach children about real life agriculture. Being able to milk a cow or goat and learning about all the products that come from that milk, is a fun and educational way to learn about where food comes from.
Delta Agribusiness is proud to sponsor, along with Agricenter, the Western Regional Breakfast at 4-H Congress in Nashville annually. Delta Agribusiness donates to local FFA chapters for assisting during the livestock shows at county and regional fairs. Adopting 4-H’s motto, of making the best better, Delta Agribusiness has something for all ages, 5 to our oldest Senior, to participate in.
