Free event Costume competition at the Delta Fair. Come win prizes first second and third. $20 to compete with your costumes. September 13, 2026 there will be live showcasing performances, Art and Professional judges
Also public voting each contestant would be given a number to be voted for and collected by tickets
First place winner $300
Rules:
- Costumes must be at least 80% complete to compete.
- All costumes must be fully assembled before judging begins. No major construction or alterations during the event.
- Contestants may create their own costumes or wear purchased costumes. Craftsmanship awards will be judged only on the portions made or significantly modified by the contestant.
- All props must be safe and comply with venue policies. No functioning weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials are allowed.
- This is a family-friendly event. No nudity, exposed genitalia, exposed buttocks, or excessively revealing costumes are permitted. Costumes must provide appropriate coverage for all private areas. Body paint, sheer fabrics, or illusion materials are not acceptable substitutes for proper coverage.
- Costumes, props, and performances must not contain obscene, sexually explicit, or hateful content.
- Contestants must check in on time and be in full costume before judging begins.
- Treat fellow contestants, judges, staff, and attendees with respect. Harassment, disruptive behavior, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- Event organizers reserve the right to deny entry or require costume modifications if a costume is deemed unsafe or inconsistent with the family-friendly nature of the event.
