Keenya Creates captivates as a singer, rapper, storyteller & musician. After years of honing her skills in Memphis’ vibrant arts scene, Keenya is now emerging as one of the city’s most fiery talents. During her regional 2025 tour, her live performance elevated as she embraced the power of simply being yourself on stage. That experience and many others have been woven into her upcoming releases: a summer single entitled “Just Be” and an introspective EP, “Wings of Sankofa”, to be released in the fall of 2026. The music gives artful storytelling, affirming lyricism, and a liberating level of honesty. The texture and tone are uniquely Memphis, but the message within the music reaches far beyond the borders of her beloved hometown.
