Darrel James, known by his artist name Dmercy, is a powerful voice emerging from Memphis, Tennessee, representing the sound and spirit of Gospel Trap Rap. At 35 years old, Dmercy blends hard-hitting trap beats with faith-driven messages, creating music that inspires, uplifts, and reaches people where they are.

Over the years, Dmercy has built a strong reputation in the Christian hip-hop community, earning multiple honors including Video of the Year, Solo Artist of the Year, Promoter of the Year, Youth Hero of the Year, and several other recognitions for his impact through music and community work.

Beyond the stage and studio, Darrel James is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation. He serves as the Head Coach of the Southside Wildcats football team, where he has dedicated 12 years to coaching youth football, teaching discipline, leadership, and faith to young athletes in his community.
