Southern Express Band was recently formed from 2 other bands. Our history goes back to 2003 when we formed the EP Express Band and in 2008 renamed to simply the Express Band which performed a variety of classic rock and country and the occasional Elvis Presley tribute. Later in 2010 the old Southern Bred Band from back in 1989 was revised and incorporated several members of the Express Band to perform traditional country music only. The 2 bands have performed in a variety of venues all across the Mid South to include, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Nashville, Tupelo, Jackson TN, Shreveport, Memphis and many, many other locations. We have performed many fairs, corporate events, local festivals, the James Burton International Guitar Festival, weddings and private parties in the 20 years we have been performing together.
