Gina Finta Vandegrift has been teaching performance voice for 28 years, and has been at Visions for 8 of those years. Her background is more of a performer and she began her career in the Heartbeat show at Libertyland! She and a group of Memphis performers also formed a dance group and competed all the way to the semi finals on the talent show Star Search in the early 90’s. After graduating high school and attending the University of Memphis, she joined some of the biggest names in Memphis in performing with the long standing Memphis band, MVP! She has taught dance in upstate New York, and performed as a singer/dancer in the show Legends In Concert in Atlantic City. As directer of A Joyful Noise Studio for 8 years she continued to instruct young vocalists in Baton Rouge Louisiana. She and her family finally moved back to Memphis in 2016 and the rest is History! Her students have done well in the performing arts community here locally and several have one the delta Fair including the last 2 years junior star of the fair winners!
