Daykisser began in 2017, when Memphis native Jesse Wilcox returned home from college with an acoustic guitar and the sketches of ten songs. The band released their debut LP “Selfhood” in December of 2019, recorded and mixed by Calvin Lauber at Young Avenue Sound in Memphis, TN.

Drawing from mixes of rock, folk, and americana, the group presents a warm, authentically indie sound, with a full dynamic range that recalls the early days of analog pop, when guitar melodies were lyrical and drums were bright and clear.

With one full-length album, two EPs, and multiple music videos under their belt, Daykisser continues to release and perform music in the greater Memphis area.
